About Shayan Kamalie
Shayan is the founder of Kamalie Law and is the head of the Civil and Commercial Law Group.
Shayan’s practice is primarily focused on disputes and litigation. He is known as a fearless advocate who takes a “no-nonsense” approach when representing his clients. His ultimate aim is to achieve excellent results for clients, whether in the courtroom or through negotiation.
Prior to founding Kamalie Law, Shayan worked at one of the largest law firms in Canada. He regularly commenced and defended lawsuits on behalf of financial institutions, insurance companies, and businesses of all sizes in a broad range of matters. Today, Shayan represents individuals and small to medium businesses in a wide array of matters including contractual disputes, real estate disputes, construction disputes, shareholder disputes, and directors’ and officers’ liability.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Shayan was a Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces where he participated in challenging field exercises and simulations. This experience enhanced his ability to think strategically and exercise sound judgment under pressure – qualities he brings to his legal practice.
